Ilmac Basel 2025

The largest meet­ing place for the chem­ic­al and life sci­ences industry in Switzerland.

First held in Basel in 1959, Ilmac has grown from a Swiss labor­at­ory trade fair into one of the most influ­en­tial plat­forms for the chem­ic­al and life sci­ences industry. Today, it con­nects over 400 exhib­it­ors with more than 12,000 trade vis­it­ors, driv­ing innov­a­tion and col­lab­or­a­tion across the entire value chain.

Under the prom­ise, ​“Inspir­ing the Future of Chem­istry and Life Sci­ences,” Ilmac show­cases the latest break­throughs in research and industry across its two anchor loc­a­tions: Basel and Lausanne. Bey­ond the exhib­i­tion floor, the event fea­tures an extens­ive pro­gram of expert talks, work­shops, and net­work­ing opportunities.

The next Ilmac will take place from 16 to 18 Septem­ber 2025 in Hall 1.0 at Messe Basel. Vis­it­ors can look for­ward to high­lights such as the Con­fer­ence, the Star­tup Area, the Future of Life Sci­ence Area, the Speak­ers Corner and the spe­cial shows Pharma Logist­ics Days and Job Con­nect. With the ​‘Women in Life Sci­ence’ format, Ilmac 2025 offers women in the industry an exclus­ive plat­form. On the first even­ing, a big party will be held in the Bam­bus­nest to cel­eb­rate Ilmac’s 66^th anniversary.
