2024 — Fresh Ideas in Nutrition

In 2024, the launch of the innov­a­tion net­work Food & Nutri­tion – Innov­a­tion­en für eine nach­haltige Lebens­mit­telkette”, fun­ded by the BMWK through its ZIM pro­gram, marked a strong new impulse for sus­tain­able food innov­a­tion.
The focus lies on nov­el food and feed con­cepts based on altern­at­ive pro­teins, func­tion­al ingredi­ents, and the use of indus­tri­al side streams – aim­ing to reduce envir­on­ment­al impacts and offer high-qual­ity altern­at­ives.
Togeth­er with a strong net­work of part­ners from research and industry, we are advan­cing solu­tions for resource-effi­cient and future-ori­ented nutrition.
