GPCA STAR­TUP NEX­US: THE NEW BRAND FOR STARTUPS

The chem­ic­al industry is at a pivotal junc­ture, driv­en by the urgent need for sus­tain­able innov­a­tion. Young, agile star­tups are the cata­lysts for this trans­form­a­tion, bring­ing fresh ideas and dis­rupt­ive tech­no­lo­gies. How­ever, they need cap­it­al, col­lab­or­a­tion, and mar­ket access to grow. The chal­lenges are enorm­ous in a pros­per­ous and grow­ing world. On the oth­er end of the spec­trum, large, estab­lished com­pan­ies and inter­na­tion­al investors are on the con­stant lookout for great ideas that need to be brought to growth.

This dynam­ic cre­ates the per­fect eco­sys­tem for the theme of the 19^th Annu­al GPCA For­um: ​‘Cata­lyz­ing Com­pet­it­ive­ness Through Stra­tegic Part­ner­ships’. The GPCA Star­tup Nex­us is the very embod­i­ment of this theme— a ded­ic­ated pro­gram designed to forge vital part­ner­ships between innov­at­ors and industry lead­ers. In this plat­form, the best star­tups selec­ted by the GPCA Expert Pan­el will present their pion­eer­ing ideas.

On the after­noons of 9^th and 10^th Decem­ber 2025, a total of ten young growth com­pan­ies (region­al and inter­na­tion­al) from the Cir­cu­lar Eco­nomy and Cli­mate Action tech­no­logy fields will deliv­er short Shark Tank-style present­a­tions, fol­lowed by a Q&A ses­sion from the audi­ence present. In addi­tion, they will be giv­en the oppor­tun­ity to engage in con­fid­en­tial dis­cus­sions with poten­tial investors and industry rep­res­ent­at­ives in private meet­ing rooms. And to fur­ther enhance their vis­ib­il­ity and net­work­ing oppor­tun­it­ies, each final­ist will also be provided with a ded­ic­ated exhib­i­tion booth. The aim is to cre­ate a net­work of mutu­al exchange designed to nur­ture col­lab­or­a­tions, stim­u­late invest­ments, and pro­mote busi­ness ideas and products for the mar­kets of tomorrow.
