Pro­tevo Bio devel­ops scal­able and cost-effect­ive puri­fic­a­tion pro­cesses for pro­teins.
By com­bin­ing these pro­cesses — par­tic­u­larly with recom­bin­ant pro­duc­tion strains such as bac­teri­al sys­tems, yeasts, or cell lines — effi­cient pro­duc­tion work­flows are cre­ated that enable the large-scale man­u­fac­ture of pro­teins at con­sist­ently low costs. This opens the door for the use of recom­bin­ant pro­teins in cost-sens­it­ive mar­kets such as the food and anim­al health sec­tors, where tra­di­tion­al pro­duc­tion meth­ods have pre­vi­ously been too expens­ive. Moreover, the sim­pli­city of these pro­cesses allows for flex­ible responses to fluc­tu­at­ing demand and con­trib­utes to the sta­bil­ity of sup­ply chains.
