The research area Micro­bi­o­logy at LMU is divided into sev­er­al research groups, in which research is con­duc­ted on dif­fer­ent sub­dis­cip­lines of micro­bi­o­logy. These include top­ics such as molecu­lar micro­bi­o­logy, bac­teri­al sig­nal trans­duc­tion, mem­brane bio­chem­istry, micro­bi­al cell bio­logy and syn­thet­ic biology.
