So we founded livQ in 2013 and began product development south-west of Munich. We are engineer, brewer and fermentation specialist Werner Schuegraf and marketing woman Renate Ladner.
The production facilities were soon too small. The offer to move into ‘research’ came at the right time. livQ is now based in the former research brewery. A place where the spirit of invention, thirst for knowledge and the soul of fermentation breathes from the walls. This is where Gottfried Jakob worked on ever better solutions for production and fermentation processes, as his patents prove.
In ‘Der Forschung’, the sophisticated fermentation with lactic acid bacteria is given the time it needs to mature in order to perfect the organic essence.
