Hop Pro­cessing Cooper­at­ive (HVG eG)

The Hop Pro­cessing Cooper­at­ive (HVG eG) is a trans­par­ent, pre­dict­able and reli­able part­ner for Ger­man hop grow­ers. In addi­tion to pro­cessing Ger­man hops into hop pel­lets, hop extract and oth­er hop products and mar­ket­ing Ger­man hop pro­duc­tion world­wide, the cooper­at­ive also per­forms import­ant tasks as a pro­du­cer asso­ci­ation. These include:

• Pro­mo­tion of pro­duc­tion improve­ment measures,
• Pro­mo­tion of the Neut­ral Qual­ity Find­ing NQF,
• Sup­port of hop research,
• Sup­port­ing research and approv­al pro­cesses in plant protection,
• mar­ket­ing also of hard-to-mar­ket hop vari­et­ies for growers,
• world­wide pro­mo­tion of/​worldwide mar­ket­ing for hops from Ger­man pro­duc­tion, and
• Area sur­vey and data pre­par­a­tion for mean­ing­ful stat­ist­ics on hop pro­duc­tion in Germany.
