dts design is act­ive in the field of elec­tron­ic engine optim­iz­a­tion and the adapt­a­tion of com­bus­tion engines to altern­at­ive fuels.
The com­pany devel­ops and pro­grams elec­tron­ic data sets and soft­ware con­fig­ur­a­tions for the flex-fuel oper­a­tion of com­bus­tion engines using pure DIN 51605 veget­able oil, EN 14214 biod­ies­el, and/​or EN 590 dies­el, while sim­ul­tan­eously optim­iz­ing per­form­ance, fuel con­sump­tion, and emissions.

Since all oil crops are flower­ing plants that inher­ently provide both energy and pro­tein, dts design advoc­ates for the use of pure veget­able oils from sus­tain­able sources — par­tic­u­larly in the agri­cul­tur­al sec­tor — as a hol­ist­ic solu­tion to the chal­lenges of biod­iversity, cli­mate change, and the sim­ul­tan­eous need to pro­duce food, feed, and fuel for a grow­ing population.

In doing so, the com­pany builds an innov­at­ive bridge between energy pro­duc­tion and the devel­op­ment of nov­el foods derived from oil and protein.
