Tex­tile Recyc­ling Focus Day

For the first time, the Go Cir­cu­lar Sum­mit will host a full-day Tex­tile Recyc­ling Focus Day, sup­por­ted by EURA­TEX. This new addi­tion unites lead­ing brands, recyclers, poli­cy­makers, and innov­at­ors to explore how design, reg­u­la­tion, and tech­no­logy can drive Europe’s trans­ition to a cir­cu­lar tex­tile economy.

The sum­mit will cov­er every link in the tex­tile recyc­ling value chain — from sort­ing and recyc­ling to design and busi­ness models.

Europe’s tex­tile sec­tor is at a crit­ic­al turn­ing point. From 2025, all EU coun­tries must col­lect tex­tiles sep­ar­ately — a major mile­stone for cir­cu­lar­ity. Yet EPR schemes, lim­ited infra­struc­ture, and com­plex mater­i­als still hinder pro­gress. The Focus Day will tackle these chal­lenges, turn­ing policy ambi­tion into prac­tic­al, scal­able solutions.

Through col­lab­or­a­tion and case stud­ies, the Focus Day aims to accel­er­ate Europe’s trans­ition to a truly cir­cu­lar tex­tile eco­nomy — one that learns from past chal­lenges and builds a sus­tain­able future for busi­ness and the planet.
