SME and Clusters Assembly

For the first time, the SME Assembly and the European Cluster Con­fer­ence con­verge into a single flag­ship event, unit­ing poli­cy­makers, entre­pren­eurs, cluster man­agers, investors and innov­at­ors under one roof and one shared agenda.

Fol­low­ing a first day of loc­al busi­ness vis­its, the two-day pro­gramme at the Con­ven­tion Centre Dub­lin will address the ques­tions most rel­ev­ant to European enter­prise today: how to grow com­pan­ies and open new mar­kets in a more com­pet­it­ive glob­al envir­on­ment; what arti­fi­cial intel­li­gence means in prac­tice for busi­nesses without ded­ic­ated tech­no­logy resources; and how to devel­op the resi­li­ent value chains — includ­ing in defence and secur­ity — that a chan­ging geo­pol­it­ic­al con­text demands.

Ded­ic­ated ses­sions will provide struc­tured oppor­tun­it­ies for both SMEs and clusters to con­nect and devel­op part­ner­ships across sec­tors and bor­ders. The pro­gramme will also recog­nise out­stand­ing European enter­prises and entre­pren­eurs, includ­ing the final­ists of the Youth Start-Up Challenge.

On the even­ing of 3 Novem­ber, par­ti­cipants will be invited to Dub­lin Castle for the Schum­peter ​‘Innov­a­tion in Enter­prise’ Lec­ture and the European SME Week Reception.
