Sus­tain­ab­il­ity Stand­ards Con­fer­ence 2025

The Leib­n­iz Insti­tute for Fin­an­cial Research SAFE, togeth­er with the Inter­na­tion­al Sus­tain­ab­il­ity Stand­ards Board (ISSB) and the Ger­man Stand­ard Set­ter DRSC, and with the sup­port of the House of Fin­ance and Deutsche Börse Group, organ­ize a con­fer­ence focused on imple­ment­ing and fur­ther devel­op­ing the IFRS Sus­tain­ab­il­ity Dis­clos­ure Standards.

Fol­low­ing the suc­cess­ful launch in June 2024, the second Sus­tain­ab­il­ity Stand­ards Con­fer­ence will take place from 21 to 22 July 2025. The con­fer­ence will focus on the imple­ment­a­tion and fur­ther devel­op­ment of IFRS Sus­tain­ab­il­ity Stand­ards. Cur­rent top­ics in sus­tain­ab­il­ity report­ing and fin­an­cial mar­ket com­mu­nic­a­tion will be dis­cussed from a reg­u­lat­ory, aca­dem­ic, and prac­tic­al perspective.

Under the theme ​“Advan­cing Sus­tain­ab­il­ity Dis­clos­ure: Imple­ment­ing the Glob­al Baseline and Future Strategies for Biod­iversity and Human Cap­it­al”, the 2025 con­fer­ence will focus on cur­rent chal­lenges in sus­tain­ab­il­ity report­ing. Key top­ics include the applic­a­tion of the ISSB’s glob­al baseline in prac­tice and cur­rent trends in the dis­clos­ure of biod­iversity and human cap­it­al information.
