The Leibniz Institute for Financial Research SAFE, together with the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) and the German Standard Setter DRSC, and with the support of the House of Finance and Deutsche Börse Group, organize a conference focused on implementing and further developing the IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards.
Following the successful launch in June 2024, the second Sustainability Standards Conference will take place from 21 to 22 July 2025. The conference will focus on the implementation and further development of IFRS Sustainability Standards. Current topics in sustainability reporting and financial market communication will be discussed from a regulatory, academic, and practical perspective.
Under the theme “Advancing Sustainability Disclosure: Implementing the Global Baseline and Future Strategies for Biodiversity and Human Capital”, the 2025 conference will focus on current challenges in sustainability reporting. Key topics include the application of the ISSB’s global baseline in practice and current trends in the disclosure of biodiversity and human capital information.
