European Com­mis­sion: Study of the EU Bio-Based Industry

The European Commission’s Joint Research Centre IPTS has com­mis­sioned a sur­vey of industry stake­hold­ers as part of a wider Study of the EU Bio-Based Industry. The study aims to provide a com­pre­hens­ive ana­lys­is of busi­ness activ­ity to assist the Joint Research Centre (JRC) in mon­it­or­ing and ana­lys­ing devel­op­ments in the bio-based industry in Europe, spe­cific­ally address­ing gaps in the exist­ing data resources. It will estab­lish, for the first time, trans­par­ent mar­ket data which will improve the sector’s vis­ib­il­ity and sup­port invest­ment decisions and policy actions. Please take part if your organ­isa­tion is pro­du­cing bio-based products as described with­in the scope of study.
