Renew­able Mater­i­als 2024

Renew­able mater­i­als have been a pop­u­lar top­ic in recent years, this con­fer­ence will address a wide range of con­cepts and tech­no­lo­gies: cir­cu­lar­ity, renew­able refiner­ies, chem­ic­al recyc­ling and new pro­cess tech­no­lo­gies. Fur­ther­more, it also intro­duces tech­no­lo­gies to pro­duce sus­tain­able chem­ic­als, build­ing blocks, poly­mers, plastics and fine chem­ic­als from renew­able car­bon. Apart from the tech­no­lo­gic­al side, this event will also dis­cuss the con­tem­por­ary mar­ket, sus­tain­ab­il­ity and polit­ic­al framework. 

With­in these three event days, you will be able to meet lead­ing experts to dis­cuss avail­able tech­no­logy to switch the car­bon source from fossil to renew­able car­bon. On top of that, the event will also intro­duce nov­el build­ings and poly­mers which are derived from bio­tech­no­logy and elec­tro­chem­istry. There will be a spe­cif­ic in-depth dis­cus­sion of fur­ans, FDCA and PEF along with bio­de­grad­able poly­mers, for example, PHA or PLA, PBAT and PBS. 

You can expect there will be speak­ers from world-renowned com­pan­ies, start-ups, high-pro­file research and high-level polit­ics. They will present top­ics regard­ing bio­mass, CO₂ and recyc­ling. Fur­ther­more, there will be 20 pan­el dis­cus­sions and expert workshops.
