Twin Transition — Digital solutions for a sustainable economy
One of the greatest challenges of our time is to reduce emissions to limit global warming to a maximum of an additional 1.5 degrees. At the same time, especially in Germany, there is the challenge of digitally transforming the economy and society.
This digital green transition (Twin Transition) is the topic of this year’s German-Finnish Business Forum in Hamburg on November 2 and 3: Digital Solutions for a Sustainable Economy. For this, we cordially invite you to discuss together with German and Finnish experts from business and politics. More about the program and our speakers can be found further down on this event page.
We organize the German-Finnish Business Forum as a platform for the exchange of innovation and ideas. We see innovation exchange as one of our most important tasks as the German Chamber of Commerce in Finland. Every autumn, we bring together key decision-makers from politics and business in both countries with innovative Finnish and German companies. The German-Finnish Business Forum also includes numerous opportunities for networking, pitches from startups and scaleups, an informal evening program, and a thematic excursion.
Finland has been one of the most digital countries in Europe for years and is the most sustainable country in the world according to the UN Report 2021 and 2022. As the German Chamber of Commerce in Finland, we have made it our mission to make Finnish innovation potential accessible to German companies, especially in these two areas — digitalization and sustainability.
