Twin Trans­ition — Digit­al solu­tions for a sus­tain­able economy

One of the greatest chal­lenges of our time is to reduce emis­sions to lim­it glob­al warm­ing to a max­im­um of an addi­tion­al 1.5 degrees. At the same time, espe­cially in Ger­many, there is the chal­lenge of digit­ally trans­form­ing the eco­nomy and soci­ety.

This digit­al green trans­ition (Twin Trans­ition) is the top­ic of this year’s Ger­man-Finnish Busi­ness For­um in Ham­burg on Novem­ber 2 and 3: Digit­al Solu­tions for a Sus­tain­able Eco­nomy. For this, we cor­di­ally invite you to dis­cuss togeth­er with Ger­man and Finnish experts from busi­ness and polit­ics. We organ­ize the Ger­man-Finnish Busi­ness For­um as a plat­form for the exchange of innov­a­tion and ideas. We see innov­a­tion exchange as one of our most import­ant tasks as the Ger­man Cham­ber of Com­merce in Fin­land. Every autumn, we bring togeth­er key decision-makers from polit­ics and busi­ness in both coun­tries with innov­at­ive Finnish and Ger­man com­pan­ies. The Ger­man-Finnish Busi­ness For­um also includes numer­ous oppor­tun­it­ies for net­work­ing, pitches from star­tups and scaleups, an inform­al even­ing pro­gram, and a them­at­ic excur­sion.

Fin­land has been one of the most digit­al coun­tries in Europe for years and is the most sus­tain­able coun­try in the world accord­ing to the UN Report 2021 and 2022. As the Ger­man Cham­ber of Com­merce in Fin­land, we have made it our mis­sion to make Finnish innov­a­tion poten­tial access­ible to Ger­man com­pan­ies, espe­cially in these two areas — digit­al­iz­a­tion and sustainability.
