CO2-based Fuels and Chem­ic­als Con­fer­ence 2024

With a cur­rent capa­city of over 1.3 mil­lion tonnes for CO₂-based products and stead­ily grow­ing demand, smart Car­bon Cap­ture and Util­isa­tion (CCU) tech­no­lo­gies are help­ing to estab­lish CO₂ as a renew­able car­bon feed­stock. Innov­at­ive tech­no­lo­gies and mater­i­als are cru­cial to meet the increas­ing demand for fossil-free car­bon, e.g. derived from CO₂ or bio­mass, espe­cially in the chem­ic­al and fuel sector.

New and lead­ing play­ers demon­strate nov­el and improved applic­a­tions based on the use of CO₂ as feed­stock. Main top­ics of the con­fer­ence include innov­a­tion, strategy & policy in CCU, car­bon cap­ture tech­no­lo­gies, green hydro­gen pro­duc­tion, Power-to‑X for fuels (trans­port­a­tion and avi­ation), CO₂-based chem­ic­als, mater­i­als and poly­mers, min­er­al­isa­tion and advanced tech­no­lo­gies, research for CCU, and arti­fi­cial photosynthesis.

The CO₂-based Fuels and Chem­ic­als Con­fer­ence is one of inter­na­tion­ally estab­lished and has developed into a unique meet­ing and net­work­ing place for the entire Car­bon Cap­ture and Util­isa­tion (CCU) and Power-to‑X industry and its cus­tom­ers. The upcom­ing 12^th edi­tion will take place on 17 – 18 April 2024, Cologne, Ger­many as a hybrid event. Like in pre­vi­ous years, this event will again show­case the latest and most import­ant devel­op­ments in the fast-grow­ing field of Car­bon Cap­ture and Util­isa­tion with plenty oppor­tun­it­ies to network.
