IOGEN
The US American company IOGEN was the first to use commercial scale enzymatic hydrolysis in cellulosic ethanol production and built the world’s largest cellulosic ethanol production facilities. Iogen produces renewale gasoline, diesel and jet fuels by way of a refinery co-processing technology. The company combines waste fibre conversion with Bioenergy Carbon Capture and Storage (BECCS) in the production of carbon negative biofuels.
