Weick­mann & Weick­mann was foun­ded in 1882 and is one of the old­est law firms in Ger­many, spe­cial­ized in intel­lec­tu­al property.

We see ourselves as a ser­vice pro­vider with the task of act­ively and optim­ally pro­tect­ing our cli­ents’ know­ledge advant­age in nation­al and inter­na­tion­al com­pet­i­tion and strength­en­ing our cli­ents’ pos­i­tion through effect­ive intel­lec­tu­al prop­erty rights.

We are an effi­cient, motiv­ated team of 40 pat­ent attor­neys, attor­neys-at-law and pat­ent engin­eers, sup­por­ted by 100 spe­cial­ized staff mem­bers. Our expert­ise extends to all areas of intel­lec­tu­al prop­erty law and allows us to work in an inter­dis­cip­lin­ary man­ner. We are able to famil­i­ar­ize ourselves com­pre­hens­ively and quickly with all issues and can always provide our cli­ents with a com­pet­ent team of attorneys.

We feel respons­ible for the interests of our cli­ents, also tak­ing into account eco­nom­ic con­sid­er­a­tions. For us, this includes advice on the pro­spects of suc­cess, costs of planned meas­ures and cost reduction.

We have a world­wide net­work of cooper­a­tion with renowned law firms, which has proven itself over dec­ades and has been con­tinu­ously expanded.
