ESIB – European Summit of Industrial Biotechnology

You are active in industrial biotechnology and are looking for something special? You always thought of an event that not only covers science but also deals with industrial needs and hopes, economic demands, funding resources or political aspirations and still leaves space for networking and recreation? acib is organizing the first European Summit of Industrial Biotechnology - esib — which will be held in Graz/​Austria from November 14^th to 16^th, 2016. With esib acib will establish a new, yearly meeting point for industrial biotechnologists from Austria and Europe to enhance networks and establish new connections. The programme will provide information ranging from scientific research to political developments to current topics and will thus form a background of high-value input for discussions.

esib – science meets economy meets politics

Hundreds of scientific conferences per year, dozens of partnering events and fairs – they all provide platforms for scientific presentations and exchange of expertise. esib has not been designed to be another conference among many others or another partnering event among many others. esib has been designed to be a platform for industrial biotechnology in multiple contexts. esib has been created to encourage all protagonists of industrial biotechnology to think outside the box and in new comprehensive dimensions. ​“DESIGN” – the guiding thread of this year’s event unites the major contributors to European industrial biotechnology under one roof to learn from celebrated experts, executives, and entrepreneurs, to get new inputs from politics and funding agencies and to develop profitable ideas with prospective partners.
