Canada — EU Workshop: Renewable Carbon Sources Processing to Fuels and Chemicals

In view of strengthening the cooperation between EU and Canada on innovation in the field of “Renewable Carbon Sources Processing to Fuels and Chemicals” the Directorate General for Energy in close cooperation with the Mission of Canada to the European Union is organising this Workshop. The Workshop is addressed to representatives from research institutions, universities, technology developers and industry working on these topics. The Workshop has been structured on invited presentations from both Canada and the EU, panel discussions and a brokerage event aiming to facilitate effective collaboration in view of future cooperation in research programmes and other innovation activities. The invited speakers have been carefully selected by Professor Jean-Michel Lavoie of the University of Sherbrooke and Professor David Chiaramonti of the University of Florence under the coordination of Dr Kyriakos Maniatis of DGENER.
