One of the leading institutions predicted industrial biotechnology immense growth potential (Frost & Sullivan, EU Lead Market Initiative). Germany shall benefit scientifically and economically benefited from the developments in this technology. Therefore, the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) funds since early 2008 nationwide five clusters for five years in the measure "BioIndustrie2021", including the IBB network.
Principle of our work is the linking of partners across different branches to conduct joint projects. This is the key to implement valuable scientific knowledge into marketable products or processes.
We invite you to join us if you
- have a project idea in the field of industrial biotechnology and want to have partners and professional support for its implementation, or
- play with the idea to spin-off a company from an academic institution, or
- seek help in finding and acquisition of funding or financing options.
If you want to accompany industrial biotechnology on its promising way and consolidate it as an essential, competitive industry, you are the right network partner for us. We are happy for your suggestions!
Are you interested in becoming a member? Then contact us! Membership in the IBB network is free. You have also the option to become a member in our association with some more benefits.
